With the huge run-up in home prices in the United States, much of the younger generation are choosing to leave the higher priced coastal and other larger metropolitan areas and buy homes in many of the rust-belt states which include Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, West Virginia, and others.
More and more companies, especially companies in the tech industry, are offering remote and work-at-home programs that are increasingly allowing people to choose a home in area where they previously could not have moved to due to the impossible commute to their employer’s location. The increase in housing demand in these states is helping to revitalize some of the downtown areas that were previously pretty lame and sparsely shopped.

Thank you to all viewers and subscibers. I apologize that I do not typically have time to answer questions that are posted in comments. Also, I cannot offer specific investment advice due to the complicated and detailed nature of everyone's personal, unique financial and life situations. Although I usually include sources, charts, data, and links to the subject matter in my videos, the views expressed in my videos are often "one man's opinion" and should not be taken as financial advice, in any way. I urge you to seek professional counsel and for everyone to do their own due dilligence prior to making any significant decisions regarding financial and investment matters.
