I used to be a silver stacker and hang out with the duct tape crowd. In the last few years a silver got crushed for a continued amount of time most silver stackers gave up but I still have a bunch of 1 oz. silver eagles.....
Yeah Silver will be good once Gold wins over $1400-1500 on the way up to $1700-1800, until then short term trading with silver is almost a fools game.I mean I guess you can play the etfs and make a little bit of $ here and there.
Yeah I think im most bullish on Platinum, or silver atm in the precious metals space. same time i say platinum its gone up a lot in the last month or so, so think it will retrace a bit before its a really good/great entry imo. I got no $ atm to be buying precious metals or stocks atm. Mid december was a great time to buy platinum, and theres really not a good platinum stock to buy on the market. PTM used to be a good stock, and i made 10% on it on one trade this year, but its got killed in last 8mths, lucky i wasnt holding it then. Northern palladiums is another one in platinum space, but Palladiums gone up soo much, that im hesitant to be involved with palladium. I see Nickel going up in the next few years which isnt a precious metal. But yeah buying actual silver in bars/coins is good in long term 3-5 years i believe. Might pay off a lot faster, silver market gets manipulated so much, i dont like buying silver bars that much unless price is super cheap cause the premiums soo high vs buying gold. But yeah id love to have 1000 + silver ounces in a safe.
