I had a great play for my http://tim.ly/timlong longer-term subscribers yesterday and took profits a little too safely as the stock is up another 60 cents/share, congrats to all of my http://tim.ly/timlong longer-term subscribers
Here's the summary of my Stock Trading Strategy
0:11 Sometimes I have trades that are intraday, and other times I have long-term stock trades. What's most important is assessing risk versus reward on my trades.
0:55 If you have doubts, you can get out! Don't be so narrow-minded about your stock trading strategies.
1:17 I want to react to what happens quickly
1:55 The key to success was sticking with the trade and adding on dips
2:19 I play my longer-term stock trades much different than my short term account.
3:20 This was an excellent acquisition, not sure about the long-term potential of the company, but it's great for trading stocks
4:19 Sometimes a stock will spike for absolutely no reason, sometimes nothing will happen
5:54 Trying to predict what management will say at a conference is not a great strategy
6:10 Stock trading is all about patience. I was patient, so it played out well for me
7:47 Overall the stock market is surging as a whole, and it felt like no one was noticing it
9:57 Congrats to my long-term newsletter subscribers. Taking profits is good!

It's good to take profits. How on earth do you feel like you're not a hamster spinning in circles? How do you keep up with the news? There are so many options. How do you narrow them down w/o being overwhelmed?
Usually Tim student, Tim Grittani, if he gets lazy he just trade based on the pattern alone. If not then they have this software called stockstotrade. The app summarizes all press releases, announcement, and etc for them. Other then that, just spam click all the top gainers% from small cap stocks/penny stocks and just look around for any kinds of patterns you're familiar with :)
IT’S GREAT TO TAKE PROFITS, ALWAYS!! This was one of my favourite videos Timothy I learnt a lot!
Particularly about the time frames of the stocks you hold. I had no idea 1 month is pretty much one of the longest holds you’ve had in years!! :O
Thank you, from your indirect student and fan from Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺 We should seriously link on social media since we’ve bantered several times through YouTube, email and Facebook! ;)
Always a pleasure looking forward to your next value giving lesson!
I made more money than Tim Sykes this year from trading, VERY proud of myself. Everyone around me, their lives have changed. Thanks for such great trading advice this year Timmy, I am grateful of you!
Edit: Netflix stock up due to Netflix and Chill
It’s good to take profits. The backers of the stock that you’re watching comes from some of the authors of the movie The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. Probably not a big deal but that’s why they have a huge subscription following. Good video thank you
i didnt have the 10k to hold IB account (CAN) so I invested in cryptos to try to get to 15k. I have far exceeded that in under a month so I'm going to stick with this and perhaps finally open an IB account soon
When you're first getting started what's the best place to set up a trading account? (I'm new to this, but am very interested in this) I've googled some of this and found things like Etrade and TD ameritrade, but I'm not sure if ones better than the other. Anyways, I've been waging Tim's videos in and off for about 2-3 weeks. They're very informative. Thanks for taking the time to do this Tim!
